Mentoring is the cornerstone of 100 Black Men of West Texas (The 100) and its network of over 100 Chapters. The social, cultural, emotional, and unique needs of youth, primarily African American males, are addressed through one-to-one and group mentoring relationships by 100 Black Men chapter members.

Scholarship Applications Are Available February 1st - April 15th, 2022

The mission of our organization is to improve the quality of life for all residents of Lubbock, Texas and West Texas with emphasis on empowering African-Americans. Our motto is "What they see is what they will be." Applicants are required to submit an essay (750 -2000 words) using the prompt, "My vision for how I will contribute to fulfilling this mission and motto in my life is...."
